Job Description

we are seeking a skilled and dedicated bim engineer to join our team. as a bim engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing building information modeling (bim) technology to support our building and infrastructure projects' design, construction, and maintenance. your responsibilities will include:

• creating and developing accurate 3d bim models using software such as autodesk revit.

• collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate bim models and resolve clashes or conflicts.

• implementing and maintaining bim standards, protocols, and workflows.

• extracting quantities and generating material takeoffs from bim models for cost estimation.

• conducting analysis and simulations using bim models to assess energy performance and structural integrity.

• generating project documentation based on bim models and data.

• providing training and technical support on bim software and processes.

• participating in project coordination meetings to ensure effective collaboration.

• performing quality checks on bim models for accuracy and compliance.

• staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in bim technology.

requirements:

• bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.

• proficiency in bim software such as autodesk revit, navisworks, and autocad.

• strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management.

• knowledge of bim standards and protocols.

• excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• experience in implementing bim on construction projects is preferred.
