Job Description Senior HVAC Modeler (710 Years Experience)

Position Title: Senior HVAC Modeler

Experience Required: 7 to 10 Years

Location: Chennai (Office-Based)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Modeler with strong expertise in HVAC BIM modeling, coordination, and detailed drafting. The candidate should be capable of handling large-scale projects independently, ensuring high-quality model deliverables, and supporting project coordination across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage HVAC BIM Models using Revit MEP as per project standards

Prepare detailed HVAC layouts including:

Ducting systems

Chilled water piping

VRF/VRV systems

Equipment room layouts

Perform clash detection and coordination with other services (Electrical, Plumbing, Fire)

Generate HVAC shop drawings, spool drawings, and installation-ready deliverables

Ensure compliance with project requirements, BIM execution plans, and international standards

Work closely with design engineers and project managers for model updates and coordination

Maintain BIM model accuracy and manage LOD requirements

Support QA/QC checks and ensure timely project delivery

Mentor junior HVAC modelers and assist in team development

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 710 years of experience in HVAC Modeling

Strong proficiency in:

Revit MEP

AutoCAD

Navisworks (Clash Detection)

Experience in handling international HVAC projects (US, UK, Middle East preferred)

Knowledge of HVAC standards like ASHRAE, SMACNA is an added advantage

Good understanding of BIM workflows, coordination practices, and documentation

Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

Immediate joiners preferred

Strong communication and coordination skills

Experience in commercial, metro, airport, and large infrastructure projects is a plus
