Primary Responsibilities:

Outreach & Promotion

Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness about the camp and its goals (., through social media, school visits, local events, community partnerships).

Create promotional materials (flyers, brochures, digital content).

Represent the camp at community meetings, fairs, and informational sessions.

Participant Recruitment

Build relationships with schools, youth organizations, and communities to recruit campers.

Organize informational sessions and enrollment drives.

Maintain registration databases and assist families through the sign-up process.

Program Awareness & Education

Educate campers and community members about the camp's mission (., environmental conservation, health and wellness, leadership development).

Coordinate workshops, awareness days, or themed activities related to the camp’s core values.

Communication & Media

Manage the camp’s online presence (website updates, social media accounts).

Document events through photos, videos, and blog posts.

Create newsletters or reports summarizing awareness activities and outcomes.

Collaboration

Work with program staff to align awareness efforts with camp activities.

Liaise with community leaders, sponsors, and stakeholders.

Support volunteer coordination and training for outreach activities.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Degree or coursework in Communications, Education, Social Work, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
