Job Title: AutoCAD Designer

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative AutoCAD Designer to create precise technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality 2D and 3D designs across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

— Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD software.

— Collaborate with engineering, architectural, and project teams to understand project requirements.

— Modify existing drawings and revise to accommodate design changes.

— Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines.

— Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.

— Perform field/site visits as needed to gather measurements or verify dimensions.

— Assist in preparing bill of materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and documentation.

Qualifications:

— Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Architectural Engineering or a related field.

— Proven experience (1+ years) as AutoCAD Designer or Draughtsman.

— Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of other design software like Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp is a plus.

— Certification in AutoCAD software.

— Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

— Good communication and collaboration skills.

— Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

— Knowledge of local construction/design codes and standards.

— Experience in HVAC, architecture, mechanical components, or electrical layout.

— Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Work Environment:

— Office-based with occasional site visits.
