We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Audiologist to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages. The candidate will conduct audiological examinations, recommend appropriate rehabilitation solutions, fit hearing devices, counsel patients, and work closely with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Review patients’ medical histories, symptoms, and hearing-related concerns.
Perform comprehensive hearing and balance assessments.
Conduct pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, impedance testing, and otoacoustic emission tests.
Perform auditory brainstem response and other electrophysiological assessments when required.
Assess infants, children, adults, and elderly patients for hearing impairments.
Identify the type, degree, and possible cause of hearing loss.
Evaluate patients experiencing tinnitus, dizziness, vertigo, or balance problems.
Prepare clear diagnostic reports and explain the findings to patients and their families.
Recommend suitable hearing aids, cochlear implants, assistive listening devices, or rehabilitation programmes.
Select, fit, programme, adjust, and maintain hearing aids.
Take ear impressions and arrange customised earmoulds or hearing devices.
Provide auditory rehabilitation, communication training, and hearing-conservation guidance.
Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss and available treatment options.
Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor progress and device performance.
Support cochlear implant candidacy evaluations, mapping, and rehabilitation where applicable.
Refer patients to ENT specialists or other medical professionals when necessary.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, ethical, and professional standards.
Calibrate and maintain audiological equipment.
Participate in community hearing-screening and awareness programmes.
Keep current with advances in audiology, hearing technology, and clinical practices.
