Assistant Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist pharmacist in dispensing medication: You will be responsible for accurately dispensing prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

2. Maintain inventory: Keep track of medication stock levels, order supplies, and ensure medications are stored properly to maintain their effectiveness.

3. Provide customer service: Interact with patients, answer their queries about medications, and provide guidance on proper medication usage.

4. Label medications: Properly label medications with the correct dosage instructions and patient information.

5. Assist in administrative tasks: Help with tasks such as record-keeping, filing insurance claims, and maintaining patient profiles.

Required Skills and Expectations:

1. Knowledge of medicine sale: Understanding of prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and their uses is essential for this role.

2. Medicine store keeping: Ability to organize and maintain medication inventory, check expiration dates, and handle medications safely.

3. Basic pharmacy knowledge: Familiarity with pharmacy terminology, medication classifications, and common drug interactions.

4. Attention to detail: Accuracy is crucial when dispensing medications and labeling prescriptions.
