position: assembly & soldering technician (iti/diploma)

key responsibilities:

� perform soldering of through-hole and smd (surface mount devices) components on pcbs.

� carry out wiring, crimping, and assembly of electrical/electronic units as per design specifications.

� read and interpret wiring diagrams, pcb layouts, and assembly drawings.

� conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of circuits and assembled units.

� follow esd (electrostatic discharge) handling procedures during assembly.

� maintain quality standards and ensure defect-free solder joints and assemblies.

� assist engineers in prototype development and small-batch production.

� maintain tools, equipment, and workbench in proper condition.

requirements:

� qualification: iti / diploma in electronics, electrical, instrumentation, or related field.

� experience: 1-3 years in soldering, pcb assembly, or electrical wiring (freshers with strong soldering skills may also apply).

skills:

� hands-on experience in manual soldering (both tht & smd preferred).

� knowledge of electronic components and wiring practices.

� ability to use tools like multimeter, crimping tools, soldering stations, and cutters.

� good understanding of safety and quality practices.
