Job Description

What You Will Do:

Plans, monitors, direct and evaluate Associates production. Ensures that schedules are met and communicates with VP, and Associates Operations if situations occur that hinder meeting deadlines. If system issues or other emergencies delay Associates, implements measures/schedules to return to established Associates schedules at the earliest possible time.

Identifies operational priorities and other work flow issues; ensures a constant flow of work so that delivery schedules are met.

Assists in the development and revision of operational policies and procedures that facilitate efficient workflow. Develops an understanding of the workflows, procedures and specific criteria for each assigned client.

Emphasizes productivity goals and takes action to ensure effective and efficient use of staff is maintained. Creatively plans for allocation of extra capacity for backlog Associates.

Oversees performance to ensure that staff is performing within the established quality and production performance criteria.

Assists in coordinating scheduled quality meetings with the production staff.

Responds to and ensures that the acknowledgement mail on daily updates is sent to US. Ensures client mails are promptly responded to.

Maintains technical knowledge of Associates.

Bring proven ability to oversee and provide support and/or direction on quality issues.

Co-Ordinate and follow through on the training plans for adding new trainees onto an account.

Guideline updates Co-ordinate with the QA staff to ensure that the update is understood by the Associates.

Project Launch - Active involvement in project launch sessions to understand the Associates process and track the daily progress during the launch period.

About Navigant India

Expert knowledge and experience in maintaining, administrating and managing Linux servers in a virtualized environment.
Experience working in RedHat 7, GlusterFS, Clustering technologies, Load Balancing (HAProxy), SFTP, Ansible or any Orchestration tool
Good knowledge in Shell, Python or any scripting language
Experience in automating routine tasks to increase efficiency and reduce human error
Experience in working in cloud environment like Azure, AWS, is a plus.
Knowledge of IT ticketing system like Service-now, Kayako, etc
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and tools such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, Nginx, Iptables, HAProxy, Incron, Crond, NFS, Awk, Sed, etc.
In-depth knowledge of Linux administration and Open Source tools.
Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers' individual needs
Providing support directly to Developers and architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues
Knowledge in Virtualization, Load Balancing and Clustering Technologies
Basic Knowledge in Ruby on Rails Framework.
Contribute in Capacity planning for Linux servers to make infrastructure and architecture recommendations to management for necessary changes/updates.
Responsible for implementing HA solutions for Linux Infrastructure
Implement disaster recovery procedures according to standards.
Participate in design walkthroughs and joint application development sessions.
Implement and manage all Linux security to ensure integrity and consistency among the various Linux Infrastructure.
Establish and enforce change and release management standards including pushes from development to QA, on to production, etc.
Engineering/Science graduate with at least 7+ years of experience or 8+ years of experience with a 3 year diploma.
RHCE certification is a must
Basic knowledge in Database administration engines like Mysql, Postgresql, Oracle or MSSQL
