With the objective of promoting popularization of science amongst the students and general visitors of all age groups, GCSC has various Galleries like Aquatics Gallery, Space Gallery, etc. GCSC desires to engage Aquatic Educators to educate visitors about the Aquatic Gallery.

Job Descriptions:

• To educate/ demonstrate with excellent fluency in Hindi/ Gujarati/ English language to the visitors regarding Aquatic Scientific Exhibits/ Events.

• Coordination with Authority and ensuring the smooth operations of works as per the requirement.

• To provide service as per the timings and days decided by the appropriate authority.

• To accompany VIPs with appropriate decorum and protocol.

• To maintain discipline and please tourists with good behavior & providing authentic information about the various galleries.

• To support administration in executing guiding services to varieties of tourists

Qualification, Experience & Skill Requirements:

• The candidate should possess / in Fisheries Science / Marine Science/ Aquatics biology/ Zoology / Life Science/ Environment Science degree from the recognized university.

• Fresher may apply. The candidate having teaching experience or guiding experience will be preferred.

• The candidate should have excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with excellent fluency in Hindi, Gujarati and English language. The candidate having good communication skill in any other language in addition to English, Hindi and Gujarati may be preferred.

• The candidate should have pleasant personality.

• The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and multi-tasking abilities.

• The candidate should be capable to handle queries successfully, and should be flexible to work as per the programme requirements.

• The candidate should have information gathering skills, understanding of basic office administrative processes, technology literacy, particularly internet and social media.

• The candidate should have excellent common sense and positive aptitude.

• The candidate should have good physique and stamina to work hard.
