job summary:

we are looking for a senior software engineer to join our product engineering team. you will be responsible for developing the browser-based client-side components of solutions within the indegene product portfolio

you will work collaboratively with the designers and usability experts to ensure a great user experience. you will be using various client-side technologies to develop these components, and as part of the engineering team, you will collaborate on the requirements to ensure that the front-end components can be properly integrated with the server-side components developed by your team mates.

job descriptions:

• work with product development team to plan front-end components based on business requirements, usability requirements, and technical requirements.

• collaborate with designers and usability experts to ensure a great client-side user experience.

• hands-on coding / development as required as part of the core engineering team.

• follow the agile development methodology implemented in the engineering team. actively participate in testing and support / maintenance activities.

• participate in code peer review processes and quality improvement initiatives within the engineering team

qualifications & experience:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.

• strong proficiency with javascript, html5, css3

• strong proficiency with angular js

• good experience or exposure to usability best practices for browser-based web applications

• basic understanding of what is involved in integrating client-side components with server side components in a web-application context.

• angular experience highly recommended

• proficient in code versioning tools such as git and svn.

• ability to write quality code that is reusable, testable, and efficient

• experience in following an agile development process.
