- Develop and deliver lectures on anatomical concepts and principles: The anatomy professor will be responsible for preparing and presenting engaging and informative lectures to students.
- Conduct laboratory sessions to demonstrate anatomical structures: The professor will lead hands-on laboratory sessions where students can observe and learn about anatomical structures firsthand.
- Create and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding: The anatomy professor will design and conduct exams, quizzes, and other assessments to gauge student comprehension and mastery of anatomical topics.
- Provide guidance and support to students through office hours and tutoring: The professor will offer additional support to students by holding office hours for questions and assistance outside of class time.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials: The anatomy professor will work with other faculty members to create an effective and comprehensive anatomy curriculum, as well as develop teaching aids and resources.
Skills and Expectations:
- MD/Medicine Doctor degree in Anatomy or related field.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process.
- Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment.
