We are seeking an Anaesthesia Technician to join our healthcare team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a diploma and between 1 to 7 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. This full-time position requires working from our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage anaesthesia equipment: You will be responsible for preparing, checking, and maintaining all types of anaesthesia machines and accessories, ensuring they are in good working order before surgeries.
- Assist during procedures: You will help anaesthetists by handing them the necessary tools and monitoring the patient’s vitals throughout surgical procedures, ensuring the patient’s safety and comfort.
- Conduct equipment checks: Regularly perform checks on anaesthesia devices and related technology, reporting any malfunctions to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
- Educate staff and patients: Provide guidance and information to healthcare staff about anaesthesia equipment and procedures and may educate patients on what to expect before undergoing anaesthesia.
- Participate in quality control: Engage in the evaluation of anaesthesia procedures and participate in training sessions to improve patient safety and care.
