Safety and security: Ensure the airport is safe and secure by inspecting terminals, roadways, and other areas

Operations: Plan, assign, and review work, and ensure the airport operates smoothly

Compliance: Ensure the airport complies with FAA regulations and other rules and regulations

Emergency response: Respond to emergencies and coordinate with other agencies

Staff management: Train, coach, and motivate staff, and ensure they are given appropriate tasks

Maintenance: Perform light maintenance duties, and coordinate construction and maintenance projects

Records: Maintain records and logs related to airport operations and services

Public relations: Maintain good public relations with airport users and the public
