An Airport Ramp Executive, also known as a Ramp Agent or Ramp Handling Agent, is a critical role in ground operations, responsible for the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the tarmac. This involves a range of tasks including loading/unloading baggage and cargo, guiding aircraft, operating ground support equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The role directly impacts on-time departures and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Aircraft Handling:

Guiding aircraft to and from gates, parking them, and assisting with pushback procedures.

Cargo and Baggage Handling:

Loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail onto and off aircraft, often using specialized equipment.

Equipment Operation:

Operating various ground support equipment, such as aircraft stairs, belt loaders, baggage tugs, and more.
