Higher Secondary Freshers For Air Cargo Executive

A Cargo Warehouse Agent at an airport is responsible for organizing and managing the movement of cargo within a warehouse facility

Key Responsibilities:

Loading and Unloading:

Handling cargo, including loading and unloading from aircraft, vehicles, and storage areas.

Sorting and Storage:

Organizing cargo, including sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or designated areas based on destination or other criteria.

Cargo Preparation:

Preparing cargo for shipment by building pallets, securing loads, and ensuring proper packaging and labeling.

Documentation:

Ensuring accurate completion of paperwork related to cargo shipments, such as air waybills, bills of lading, and manifests.

Equipment Operation:

Operating forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move and handle cargo.

Safety and Security:

Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to safety regulations, company policies, and security protocols.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with dangerous goods regulations, import/export regulations, and other relevant rules.

Communication:

Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other relevant parties regarding cargo status, issues, or discrepancies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Stamina: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.

Attention to Detail: The ability to accurately record information, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper handling of cargo.
