Key duties include documenting shipments (Air Waybills), booking space, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (DG cargo), and supervising loading/unloading to meet schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation & Compliance: Preparing and verifying air waybills, invoices, and ensuring compliance with international air regulations and customs requirements.
Operations Management: Coordinating the physical handling, weighing, labeling, and storage of cargo to ensure proper loading.
Customer Service & Tracking: Communicating with clients regarding shipment status, resolving issues, and tracking cargo.
Capacity Planning: Liaising with airlines for cargo space management and booking.
Safety & Security: Ensuring dangerous goods (DG) are handled correctly and adhering to safety procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge: Proficiency in import/export procedures and cargo management software.
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
Experience: 13 years in cargo operations, logistics, or aviation.
Certification: Dangerous Goods (DG) certification is highly desirable.
