Job Opening: Testing & Commissioning Engineer Position: Testing & Commissioning EngineerWork location site work (South) Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech (Electrical / Instrumentation / Power System) Experience: Fresher / 1-5 YearsRole & Responsibilities:Testing, commissioning & troubleshooting of electrical panels, switchgear & protection relaysSite coordination & technical documentationKnowledge of CT/PT, transformer testing, LV/MV systems preferredSkills Required: Electrical safety knowledge Hands-on testing tools experience (Relay testing kit, IR Tester, Megger, etc.) Reading SLD, drawings & test reports

-Perform manual or machine winding of copper/aluminum coils based on design specifications.-Assemble transformer cores and mount windings with precision and accuracy.-Apply proper insulation materials between layers and windings.-Conduct lead wire soldering, termination, and labeling as per wiring diagrams.-Carry out varnish dipping or vacuum impregnation for thermal insulation.-Assist in transformer enclosure assembly and mounting into systems -Perform electrical testing-Identify and troubleshoot winding or assembly defects.-Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper documentation of the work area.

Install Solar Panels: Know how to fix panels on rooftops or open land.Electrical Work: Understand wires, switches, and how electricity flows.Find and Fix Problems: If something stops working, figure out why and repair it.Use Tools: Be comfortable using drills, screwdrivers, and measuring devices.

Execute wiring plans, HT & LT Panel, Transformer and DG.Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.Prevent breakdown of systems by daily inspection and replace old wiring and insulated cables.Identify hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged units.

Job Purpose:To provide expert-level testing, commissioning, maintenance, and service support for transformers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Testing & Diagnostics:Conduct electrical tests such as insulation resistance, winding resistance, transformer turns ratio (TTR), and vector group tests.Perform advanced diagnostic tests, including Tan Delta, Partial Discharge (PD), and Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA).Analyze test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions.Commissioning:Supervise the installation and commissioning of transformers at project sites.Execute functional and performance tests in compliance with IEC and IEEE standards.Ensure seamless integration of transformers into the power grid.Service & Maintenance:Perform on-site troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for transformers.Undertake repairs, retrofitting, and preventive maintenance activities.Replace defective components and ensure restored operational efficiency.Technical Documentation:Prepare test reports, commissioning logs, and service records.Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and client reference.Client Support:Provide technical support to clients during and post-project implementation.Train client teams on proper operation and maintenance of transformers.Safety & Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards during testing and commissioning.Conduct risk assessments and ensure workplace safety.Key Skills:Expertise in transformer testing, commissioning, and servicing processes.Proficiency in handling equipment like TTR meters, SFRA analyzers, and Tan Delta testers.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 60076 and IEEE C57.
