Job DescriptionJobs available only through Opportunity Card Germany Permanent Residency Visa route*Age 21 to 67IElTs & Germany Not NeededProcess time 6 monthsMajor ResponsibilitiesSpecimen Collection & HandlingCollect biological samples (blood, urine, stool, sputum, tissue, etc.)Label, store, and transport specimens correctly to prevent contaminationVerify patient identity and test requests before processingLaboratory Testing & AnalysisPerform routine and specialized laboratory tests under established protocolsConduct tests in areas such as:HematologyClinical ChemistryMicrobiologyImmunology/SerologyUrinalysisBlood banking (where applicable)Operate laboratory instruments and analyzers accuratelyEquipment Operation & MaintenanceCalibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipmentPerform quality control checks on instruments and reagentsIdentify and troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctionsQuality Control & AssuranceFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs)Run control samples to ensure accuracy and reliability of resultsDocument quality control data and report deviationsData Recording & ReportingAccurately record test results in laboratory information systems (LIS)Validate and report results to physicians or senior laboratory staffMaintain confidentiality of patient informationLaboratory Safety & Infection ControlFollow biosafety and infection control guidelinesProperly dispose of biomedical wasteUse personal protective equipment (PPE) consistentlyHandle hazardous chemicals and biological materials safelySupport to Medical StaffAssist pathologists, laboratory scientists, and physiciansPrepare reagents, culture media, and slidesParticipate in case discussions when requiredInventory & Resource ManagementMonitor laboratory supplies and reagentsMaintain stock records and report shortagesEnsure proper storage conditions for reagents and samplesCompliance & EthicsAdhere to hospital policies, legal regulations, and accreditation standardsMaintain professional ethics and patient confidentialityParticipate in audits and inspectionsContinuous Learning & DevelopmentUpdate knowledge of new laboratory techniques and technologiesAttend training sessions, workshops, and competency assessmentsFollow advances in diagnostic testing
