Job Title:CNC and VMC Operator cum SetterJob Summary:The CNC and VMC Operator cum Setter is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Key Responsibilities:Machine Setup and Operation:Prepare and set up CNC and VMC machines for production runs.Load raw materials and tooling into machines.Program CNC machines using CAM software or manual programming.Perform test runs to ensure machines are properly set up and producing parts to specifications.Production and Quality Control:Operate machines to produce parts according to specifications.Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy.Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality.Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as they arise.Keep detailed records of machine operations and maintenance activities.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.Ensure a clean and safe working environment.Comply with company policies and procedures.Qualifications:Proven experience as a CNC and VMC operator and setter.Proficiency in operating CNC and VMC machines and using precision measurement tools.Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents, blueprints, and drawings.Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment

Should have experienced in both infeed and through feed grinding. Should be able to read and understand drawings, work instructions Should be able to do setting change over indepedently. Should have hands on experience in changing and dressing of Grinding wheels. Should have knowledge and skill of using measurement instruments like Micrometer, Vernier Caliper etc. Should be flexible to work in shifts.
