An NDT Engineer is responsible for performing non-destructive testing to evaluate the properties, integrity, and quality of materials, components, and structures without causing damage. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.Key Responsibilities:Conduct NDT inspections using methods such as:Ultrasonic Testing (UT)Radiographic Testing (RT)Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT/PT)Visual Testing (VT)Interpret test results and prepare detailed inspection reportsEnsure testing is performed as per applicable codes and standards (ASTM, ASME, ISO, etc.)Calibrate and maintain NDT equipmentIdentify defects, discontinuities, and non-conformities in materialsCoordinate with production, quality, and client teamsMaintain proper documentation as per National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) requirements (if applicable)Ensure compliance with safety procedures during testing operationsAssist in audits and quality system implementation
