JOB DESCRIPTION:Being a member of IT SIFMU Delivery team, you will support core Clearing and Settlement applications for DTC, NSCC and FICC as well as Wealth Management & Insurance Services will be managed by this group, which will also oversee Master Reference Data.You will collaborate with your peers within and outside your area to ensure that any best practices/approaches/standards are reused. Day to Day: Provide JEE/WebSphere Commerce consulting services to address technology needs ranging from strategic planning to enterprise system optimization. Provide detailed viability study and discovery process of any new project/system integrations involving JEE/ WebSphere commerce suite. Prepare cost and effort estimation for any new enhancement and development works related to IBM WebSphere Commerce based systems and JEE based systems. Create low level technical design for implementing the technical and business user stories. Design systems for meeting functional as well as several non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, response times, maintainability, etc. Develop the code as per design Unit testing application code as per guidelines of enterprise level results. support QA process including integration testing, fix bugs during testing phases. Monitor, support and troubleshoot issues and behavior in production and fix the issues based on priority. Prepare various monitoring mechanisms, scripts using SQL, Splunk, python/shell scripts to pro-actively identity issues in production to ensure smooth running of all systems without negatively impacting business. Help prepare process/procedure/system upgrades so that retail holiday peak system demands are met and transparent to customers. Support Devops team in each sprint release (code drop) to production by providing them with deployment runbook instructions, and any new infrastructure change requirements Peer code review and code optimization People management, Interaction with offshore team Knowledge Transfer for the newly added team members Required Qualifications: Must have experience in WCS commerce development with V7 or V8.
