We collaborate with government and non- government stakeholders in using big data to improve infrastructure and services in cities.We are a small multi-disciplinary group of social scientists, architects, urban planners, designers and technologists.About the roleWe are seeking a candidate with prior work experience in urban planning or transport to join our team as Senior Program Associate. The candidate will support the team through primary and secondary data collection, research and data analysis. The candidate will work closely with the team to liaise with government stakeholders, prepare deliverables, communicate results, and support the internal team across projects. We are looking for detail-oriented people who are keen on working in the domain of data for social change.Responsibilities Undertaking site visitsfor audits, surveys, documentation, collecting primary and secondary data Quantitative and Qualitative research pertaining to addressing the gaps in urban policy, planning and governance on topics such as transportation, housing, urban safety, women empowerment and economic development. Design research tools and conduct data collection including survey/interview/ FGD questionnaires and observations. Support research and analysis required for the projects in preparation of internal and external communications pieces. Engaging and collaborating with various stakeholders and partners across the urban andtransport sector Collaborate with the program team in writing reports as per the monitoring and evaluation requirements. Assist in the preparation and submission of research grant proposals. Desired Skills and Qualifications Masters degree in public policy, so

Bachelor's or master's degree in urban planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum 5-7 year's experience required.Experience in Managing Urban renewal, Preparation of DP/RP/TPS Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of urban planning principles, land use regulations, and sustainable development practices. Familiarity with urban planning software and GIS tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. A passion for urban development and improving the quality of life in cities.Job Type: Full-time
