Upholster new sofas, chairs, beds, and other furniture.Measure, cut, and fit fabric, leather, vinyl, and foam accurately.Remove old upholstery and replace damaged padding, springs, and webbing.Stitch and sew upholstery materials using industrial sewing machines.Stretch and secure upholstery using staple guns and hand tools.Repair and restore damaged upholstered furniture.Inspect finished products to ensure quality and customer specifications.Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.Follow production schedules and company quality standards.

We are looking for a skilled Upholsterer to join our team in Germany. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 8 years of experience and should have completed their 12th grade. This is a full-time position that requires working from the office.Key Responsibilities:- Fabric Selection: Choose the right materials for upholstery projects, ensuring that they match customer requirements and expectations.- Furniture Repair: Repair and restore furniture items by replacing or repairing damaged fabric and padding, ensuring high-quality finishes.- Measuring and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut materials to fit various furniture styles, taking care to achieve precise dimensions for a perfect fit.- Sewing and Stitching: Use sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques to create and attach upholstery, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.- Final Inspection: Conduct final inspections of completed work to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications before delivery.Required Skills and Expectations:The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship. Good communication skills are essential for understanding customer needs and collaborating with team members. Proficiency in using various upholstery tools and techniques is important.
