Turbine DCS Engineer vs Shift Incharge

This is a full-time on-site role as a Turbine Operator at the Scan Steel LTD. As a Turbine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the turbines and generators for the generation of electrical power. Your day-to-day duties will include monitoring the performance of the turbines, performing maintenance activities, responding to alarms, and reporting issues to the appropriate authorities. Roles and responsibilities:- Prior experience as a Turbine Operator or in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of power plant equipment and its operational procedures. An understanding of electrical power systems and their components. The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and team-working skills. Maintain proper water chemistry, pressure, and temperature levels. Start and stop turbines according to procedures and load requirements. Identify and troubleshoot operational problems. Maintain detailed records of plant operations. Perform routine maintenance tasks.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Power plant operations training or certification. Experience working in a power plant environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
