Key Responsibilities:1. Repair and maintain dies: Fix and maintain molds and dies used in manufacturing processes to ensure smooth operation of machinery.2. Inspect dies: Evaluate die components for wear, damage, or defects and make necessary repairs or replacements.3. Troubleshoot issues: Identify and address any problems with dies that may be affecting production quality or efficiency.4. Modify dies: Make adjustments or alterations to molds and dies as needed to meet production requirements.5. Collaborate with team: Work closely with other team members, such as machinists and engineers, to ensure die performance meets production needs.Required Skills and Expectations:1. I.T.I. certification: Must have completed a relevant I.T.I. course in die fitting to demonstrate understanding of die maintenance and repair.2. 3-7 years of experience: Solid experience in die fitting within a manufacturing setting to effectively handle die repair and maintenance tasks.3. Mechanical aptitude: Strong mechanical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues with dies efficiently.4. Attention to detail: Ability to carefully inspect and assess dies to accurately identify and address any problems.5. Team player: Capable of working collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain die performance.

Maintain high standards of quality control to ensure all products meet the required standards.- Maintain a safe work environment: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries. Keep work area clean and organized to minimize hazards.- Strong mechanical aptitude: Possess a good understanding of machinery and mechanical processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with grinding machinery.- Attention to detail: Pay close attention to small details and maintain precision in work. Ensure accuracy in measurements and finishing of workpieces.- Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects. - Set up and operate VMC machines: Responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to perform various machining operations.- Read and interpret blueprints: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements of the job.- Monitor machine operations: Monitor the VMC machine operations to ensure they are running efficiently and producing quality parts within specified tolerances.- Inspect finished parts: Inspect the finished machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards.- Perform routine maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the VMC machines to ensure they are in good working condition and to prevent breakdowns.Skills and Expectations:- Proficiency in operating VMC machines.- Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings.- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on machines.- Good communication skills to work effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
