The tasks and duties of the Material QA/QC Inspector includes (but notlimited) to the following: Perform inspection at site, warehouse and at the CONTRACTORpremises on purchased or rented received material or equipment suchas valves, piping, gaskets, fittings, heat exchangers, pressure vessels,lifting equipment, gas cylinders, etc., to check conformity with purchaseorders and specifications requirement as per QG procedure. Perform physical material inspection, dimensional verification, reviewMaterial Test Certificates with respect to the drawings, QG assetspecifications, procedures and ASTM/ASME or equivalent materialspecifications, any special requirements, correlate data and providedisposition on the acceptance / rejection of equipment / materials. Prepare Material Inspection reports with the right disposition as per QGprocedure and maintain register of all Receiving inspections performed. Extract list of materials in inspectors queue in SAP, performinspections, update SAP material inspection data and clear them in SAPfor further processing. Perform periodic MTC and material verification for authenticity andgenuineness by contacting manufacturers (via email) to avoid fakematerials and other anomalies. Review pending Material Discrepancy Reports (MDRs) in SAP, reviewclarifications from suppliers and provide acceptance/rejection ofmaterials. Perform Supplier performance analysis based on quality aspects withReceiving Inspection data and prepare analysis reports, providing inputson key improvement areas for suppliers and others. Review QA/QC Final Dossier documents (Quality plan, Inspection & Testplan, QA/QC procedure, WPS, Welder qualification record, OperatingProcedures, Method Statements etc.) related to new equipment andmaterials being procured. Provide inputs for materials related queries to shut down, performcritical material inspections prior to shut down, perform materialinspections during shutdown execution as
