JOB DESCRIPTION Jointer (Quad cable, OFC) Location: New Varediya, Surat / Vadodra GujratResponsibilities: Prepare and splice cables to create durable joints, terminations, or connections. Install cable systems for various applications, such as underground, overhead, or submarine cables. Work with different cable types, including high-voltage, low-voltage, fibre optic, and telecommunication cables. Inspect and diagnose faults in cable systems using diagnostic equipment. Repair damaged or faulty cables to restore functionality. Prepare worksites by excavating and securing underground cable trenches. Coordinate with other teams or utilities to minimize service disruptions during installations or repairs. Ensure proper backfilling and site restoration after completing underground cable work.Qualifications: Knowledge of different types of cables (e.g., high-voltage, low-voltage, Fiber optic). Familiarity with tools and equipment such as cable strippers, crimping tools, and test meters. Understanding electrical safety standards and procedures. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Field Work: Experience working in environments such as construction sites, power stations, or industrial facilities. Apprenticeship: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program for cable jointers. Basic Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Technical Education: Vocational training or courses in electrical or telecommunications fields can be advantageous.

*Candidate must have diploma or ITI in Electronics and communication, Electrical or Related fields.Roles & Responsibilities:Should have knowledge of (OFC) Optic Fiber Networking, laying, cabling, termination and testing.Manage & ensure smooth co-ordination with on-site team & customers of respective site for day-to-day operations.Ensure service standards as per company process & policies for the respective assigned site.Manage and ensure proper monitoring the work of Technicians & on-site teamEnsure timely execution of project as per the approved design & as per process.Co-ordinate with immediate head for requirement of materials and ensure timely material inward as per process & policy.Manage and ensure timely material loading and unloading activity and ensure on-site safety and security of the material.Ensure & manage proper on-site document/records management of vouchers/bills, sign ups, etc. in co-ordination with respective project co-ordinator.Ensure and carry out timely report/document submission such as DPR, bills, sign up documents etc as per process and policyTimely reporting to respective project manager as per process.
