Mechanical BranchExperience: 3-5 YearsJob Location: Nagpur, MaharashtraPay: 25,000.00 - 35,000.00 per monthPosition OverviewThe Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting compliance with regulatory standards to maintain production efficiency and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA, and other regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring alignment with operational and regulatory requirements.Spare Parts Management: Monitor inventory of spare parts, recommend procurement, and ensure availability of critical components to support maintenance schedules.Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, quality assurance, and other engineering disciplines to optimize equipment performance and support manufacturing goals.Safety & Risk Management: Adhere to safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements, implement modifications, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.QualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.Technical Skills:Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumps, motors, and pneumatic systems.Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and other pharmaceutical industry standards.Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Note: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not exhaustive.
