Responsibilities:Machine Setup: Set up VMC machines, including loading and unloading workpieces, installing and adjusting tooling and fixtures according to job requirements and safety protocols.Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to understand machining requirements, dimensions, and tolerances.Machine Operation: Operate VMC machines to perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, tapping, and boring, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Program Loading and Editing (Basic): Load pre-written CNC programs (G-code) into the machine controller and make minor edits or adjustments as necessary under supervision.Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on VMC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking for any malfunctions. Report any significant issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.Process Monitoring: Monitor machine operations, speeds, and feeds to ensure optimal performance and identify any potential problems. Make necessary adjustments within defined parameters.Tool Management: Handle and maintain cutting tools properly, ensuring they are in good condition and reporting any wear or damage.Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs, including cycle times, quantities produced, and any issues encountered.Communication (Local Emphasis): Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other team members in Marathi and Hindi regarding production status, quality issues, and machine-related concerns.Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area around the VMC machine.
