Structural engineer (Civil) project manager should be detail-oriented, have strong math skills, and be team players. He/she should also display above-average decision-making, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities. In addition to these capabilities He/she should demonstrate the ability to do the following:Completing project pre-planning processes, such as cost estimations and budgeting.Must Have good knowledge About fluid Mechanics. (Most Important)Excellent knowledge of construction methods and ISO regulations, materials knowledge, ability to solve problems using methodical approach, Developing Structural design, material specifications, Schematics and drawings in accordance with ISO quality systems.Job responsibilities of a structural engineer includes :Design of Steel Structures, Detailed Design of Concrete Structures.Structural Foundations and Investigations.Design of powerhouse structures, involving turbine and generator set foundations, substructure and superstructure.Design of penstocks (buried penstocks, above ground penstocks and liners).
