Gemmologist Jobs

Identify, evaluate and grade precious & semi-precious gemstones.Check gemstone authenticity, quality, treatments and enhancements.Assess colour, clarity, cut, carat weight and market value.Inspect stones received from vendors and verify quality/specifications.Support gemstone purchase, pricing and vendor evaluation.Maintain appraisal, valuation and gemstone records.Handle high-value gemstones with accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.Requirements:Diploma/Certification in Gemology preferred.Strong knowledge of coloured gemstones and gemstone valuation.Hands-on experience with gemological testing instruments.Jewellery manufacturing/purchase experience preferred.Strong observation and analytical skills.
