You will be required to install and maintain the database software, create storage structures, set up user accounts, debug malfunctioning programs, create backups, and regularly maintain the database security.To ensure success as an Oracle database administrator, you should have extensive experience with DBA front-end and back-end tools, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with Oracle database management. Ultimately, a top-level Oracle DBA can expertly manage a companys database system to maximize performance and efficiency.Responsibilities: Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software. Creating storage database structures with high-level security features. Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company. Setting up database user accounts. Training users on how to access the information in the database. Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity. Creating autonomous database backups. Regularly updating the database security protocols.Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer engineering or computer science. 3-5 years work experience as a Database administrator. Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation. Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL. Knowledge of programming languages and API. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to visualize algorithmic structures. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-driven, flexible, innovative and dedicated team-member.

Evaluating overall performance of Oracle database & Golden Gate and providing recommendations for improving/tuning.Provide feasibility analysis and design assistance for project and provide solutions/workarounds for service requests related to project.Evaluate and feedback based on design document shared.Evaluating current backup, recovery, and data replication procedures & features and providing recommendations for improving those procedures and features.Able to provide expert advice and information (with relevant documents explaining the information) for problems/questions/Service Requests posed during project execution.Guidelines for installation of Oracle Golden Gate 19c and Guidelines for migration of existing replication program (Oracle Golden Gate) to latest stable version.Guideline for business data migration using Oracle Golden Gate from source to target databases with best practice or recommendation.Guidelines for migration strategy from oracle 10g to oracle19c.Knowledge in core Oracle DBA concepts and Knowledge in DB and Golden Gate performance tuning concepts.Ensure that all tables have unique primary keys.Look for harmful growth ratesDesigns, implements, and periodically tests the database backup and recovery proceduresParticipate in the on-call schedule
