We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher who can inspire and teach students in Ambala. You will help our students develop their dance skills and express their creativity through movement. Key Responsibilities:- Teach Various Dance Styles: Deliver lessons in different dance styles such as classical, contemporary, hip-hop, and ballet to cater to diverse student preferences.- Plan Lessons: Design and prepare engaging lesson plans that fit the ability levels and interests of students, ensuring a structured learning process.- Assess Student Progress: Regularly evaluate students progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their dance skills and confidence.- Organize Events: Coordinate and participate in dance performances and recitals to showcase students' talents and celebrate their achievements.- Maintain Class Discipline: Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves while adhering to class rules.- Communicate with Parents: Keep parents informed about their childs progress and any upcoming events, encouraging a strong partnership in the students learning journey.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates must have at least 1 year of teaching experience in a dance-related environment. A passion for dance and the ability to connect with students of all ages is essential. Strong communication skills are needed to effectively relay instructions and feedback, as well as to engage with parents. A creative mindset and a willingness to adapt lessons to meet the needs of students are highly valued. A minimum educational qualification of passing the 12th grade is required.

1.Plan, prepare and deliver modules in line with current Learning Teachingand Assessment strategy, Academic Framework and quality requirements.2.Instructs students in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, hip hop and other forms of dance.3.Plan, prepare and deliver courses of study in relevant curriculum areas, including related physical practices for dancers.4.Support the development of students technical and performance skills and abilities.5. Observe students to determine physical and artistic qualifications and limitations and plans programs to meet students' needs and aspirations.6. Demonstrate accurate method, procedure and components of dance.7. Evaluate each students growth in physical skills, knowledge and contribution in dance and provide timely and constructive feedback to students through the companys Learning grid.8. Uses effective and safe teaching methods based on size of class, developmental level and style of dance.9. Confer with parents/guardians, teachers and administrators to report on students progress.10. Support instructional goals and work with departmental teams.11. Creates a positive classroom environment which supports engaged student learning.12. Organizes events, choreographs culminating and competitive moments within the school and externally.13. Share your passion for the art with young dancers.14. Work alongside Curriculum Leads to ensure the provision of high quality, relevant teaching and support materials.15. Produce teaching materials informed by current research and/or advanced scholarly practice that motivates and inspires student learning through their development of knowledge and experience.16. Make appropriate use of technology to support learning and teaching, creatinginteractive resources for the modules content.17.
