As a Cath LAB Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting cardiac procedures in a clinical environment. Your main responsibilities will include:- Assisting in Procedures: You will help doctors during catheterization and other cardiac procedures, ensuring that all equipment is ready and functioning properly.- Preparing Equipment: You will be responsible for setting up and testing all necessary instruments and machines, ensuring that everything is sterile and organized before procedures begin.- Monitoring Patient Status: During procedures, you will monitor patients' vital signs and provide real-time feedback to the medical team to ensure their safety and well-being.- Maintaining Inventory: You will keep track of supplies and materials used in the Cath Lab, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and reordering items as needed.- Documenting Procedures: You will record relevant data during procedures, including patient information, equipment used, and outcomes, to maintain accurate medical records.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelors degree in Science or an MBBS, and possess the following skills:- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with medical equipment and technology used in a Cath Lab environment is essential.- Attention to Detail: You must be detail-oriented to ensure all procedures are conducted accurately and safely.- Team Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills are important, as you will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide patient care.- Adaptability: You should be able to adjust quickly to changing situations and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
