Dedicated to work ethics and punctual with work deliverables Commercial & Quantity Knowledge (BOQ) Working knowledge of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) - able to actively participate in BOQ preparation aligned to the allocated project budget, not merely review it. Ability to independently review, update, and reconcile BOQs against site progress, flagging inclusions, exclusions, and variations as they arise. Comfortable reading and validating quantity take-offs, rate analyses, and vendor/contractor quotations against the approved BOQ. Technical Software & Drawing Skills Hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory - the candidate must be able to personally draft, edit, and detail drawings, not only review or delegate them. Able to independently produce and markup working drawings, GFC (Good-for-Construction) drawings, sections, elevations, and detail drawings when required, without depending solely on the drafting team. Capable of stepping in to directly design, sketch, or redline layouts and details on short notice - particularly valuable when working away from the core studio team, where quick turnaround on a personally executed drawing can unblock a site query. Working knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar 3D visualisation tools to develop and communicate design intent is preferred. Comfortable using Photoshop or similar tools for presentation drawings, renders, and mood boards. Proficient with MS Office (Excel in particular, for BOQ trackers and schedules) and cloud-based file-sharing platforms for drawing version control.
