As an MEP Site Engineer, your primary role will involve managing and overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works on construction sites to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Project Coordination:** Work closely with project managers and other engineers to coordinate MEP activities and ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.- **Site Inspection:** Conduct regular site inspections to verify that MEP installations comply with design specifications and local codes, ensuring safety and quality are maintained.- **Technical Support:** Provide technical assistance and guidance to contractors and subcontractors regarding MEP systems, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during installation.- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of MEP work, including progress reports, change orders, and any site modifications, to keep stakeholders informed and uphold project transparency.- **Material Management:** Oversee the procurement and proper usage of MEP materials, ensuring that they meet the required standards and are delivered on time to avoid delays.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or an Advanced/Higher Diploma related to MEP systems. A minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience is expected. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for diagnosing issues effectively. Good communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and best practices in the industry is critical. Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.6. Ensure all machines, tools, and instruments are operating within their recommended specifications.7. Ensure that breakdowns are reported, analyzed, and corrective actions are taken promptly.8. Ensure that maintenance practices comply with relevant pharmaceutical industry standards, such as cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety protocols.9. Maintain records of all maintenance activities and audits in compliance with regulatory requirements.10. Assist in facility audits and inspections related to maintenance and safety compliance.11. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.12. Ensure timely procurement and proper storage of spare parts to prevent delays in maintenance operations.13. Track and monitor the usage of consumables and equipment parts.14. Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient and effective execution of tasks.15. Coordinate with internal teams (production, quality, engineering, etc.) to ensure maintenance does not disrupt production schedules.16. Provide training and guidance to the maintenance team on best practices, safety, and operational procedures.17. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.18. Document maintenance schedules, parts used, and machine downtime for performance analysis.
