Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly & Installation: Putting together electronic systems or mechanical parts based on technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints.Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing faults in malfunctioning equipment and performing necessary repairs (e.g., replacing a blown capacitor on a PCB).Testing & Calibration: Using tools like Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators to ensure products meet specified standards.Preventive Maintenance: Performing regular checks on machinery or systems to prevent future breakdowns.Soldering & Rework: (Specific to Electronics) Hand-soldering components onto PCBs or performing rework on surface-mount devices (SMD).Documentation: Maintaining logs of repairs made, parts used, and test results for quality control. Required SkillsTechnical Proficiency: Mastery of hand tools and diagnostic software.Manual Dexterity: A steady hand for working with very small components (crucial for PCB work).Reading Schematics: The ability to look at a circuit diagram and identify the physical components on a board.Attention to Detail: Precision is vital; one wrong wire or a cold solder joint can ruin an entire system.Safety Awareness: Strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent electrical shocks or mechanical injuries.
