Job Title: Software Quality Engineer (1 year contract) (ID1409)Location: Customer Site (Singapore)Working Hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 6pmSalary: $7000 to $8000Job Description Expertise in Test lifecycle including Requirement Analysis, Identifying Test Scope, Designing Test cases, Executing Test cases, and Tracking defects till closure Able to define and create test deliverables such as Test Cases and Test Data Experience in various test phases such as End to End Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing Have worked in both Waterfall and Agile project models Expertise in Defect Management and Tracking Plan and manage test environment and dataRequirements: Functional tester with minimum of 4-7 years experience in financial services domain Experience in Equities or Derivatives trading with comprehensive understanding of Futures and Options products Knowledge of End-to-End Trade Lifecycle including Order and Trade Management, Risk Management, Post Trade workflows, Margin and Collateral Management, Settlements etc. Expertise in usage of test management, system measurements and message latency measurement tools such as ALM, JIRA, qTest Working knowledge of proprietary or industry standard tools such as Tosca, Verifix, UFT, Selenium etc. Testing experience with Industry standard APIs used in Financial Services domain (e.g. FIX, SWIFT) Hands-on test automation experience on any industry standard tool is a plus Experience of static and dynamic test data set up for Functional, System, SIT and Regression Testing Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally Complete Team player with a collaborative mind-set Strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving ability

Should possess strong knowledge in PL/SQL.Develop effective strategies and test plans.Well-versed with Testing Concepts.Experience in writing Test cases and Test plans.Expert in defect management tools such as JIRA/ALM.Design test methods and drive test planning and execution to ensure software meets quality standards.Support the application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).Prior knowledge of data analysis, database design concepts, Oracle SQL, and SQL testing.Run automation suites and evaluate results as builds that are deployed to the test environment, ensuring bug reports are submitted and tracked in accordance with unit procedures.Skills and Abilities and Other Characteristics:Enthusiastic team player who enjoys both strategic and hands-on work.Ability to analyse problems and develop creative solutions to complex product issues.Strong interpersonal, communication, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.Awareness of the latest technologies and trends.
