RESPONSIBILITIES:Read and interpret drawings, specifications and fire codes to determine layout requirementsInstall clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power toolsSelect, measure, cut, ream and thread pipe, install sprinkler heads and mount prepared pipe in supportsJoin pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipmentConnect piping system to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipmentInstalls valves, alarms and associated equipmentTest system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment;

- Key Responsibilities:1. Install and maintain piping systems: As a pipe fitter, your main responsibility will be to install, assemble, fabricate, and maintain piping systems according to engineering specifications.2. Read and interpret blueprints: You will need to be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of pipes and fittings.3. Cut and thread pipes: You will be responsible for cutting, bending, and threading pipes using various tools and equipment to fit specific project requirements.4. Test piping systems: After installation, you will conduct tests to ensure that the piping systems are leak-free and functioning properly.5.
