Job Description

- Assist the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.

- Coordinate with regional and zonal sales teams to ensure alignment on sales targets and strategies

- Process orders received from sales representatives, bookstores, schools, and distributors.

- Follow up on order status, stock availability, and dispatch schedules.

- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product or order-related information.

- Maintain regular contact with clients to build long-term relationships and ensure satisfaction.

- Maintain and update sales databases, order records, and client details.

- Prepare and distribute sales performance reports, stock movement summaries, and sales forecasts to management.

- Liaise with the logistics, finance, and editorial teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, invoicing, and product availability.

- Work closely with marketing teams to support sales campaigns and promotional activities.

- Assist in executing seasonal campaigns, new book launches, and school book fair events.

- Coordinate distribution of promotional materials to sales representatives and clients.

- Track inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet customer and sales team requirements.

- Coordinate with the warehouse for efficient packaging and dispatch of orders.

- Ensure accurate documentation of sales transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.

- Comply with internal policies and publishing industry standards.

- Monitor sales targets and assist the team in identifying gaps and areas for improvement.

- Provide analytical support to improve sales planning and execution.

- Collect and analyze customer feedback related to sales and product issues.

- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve complaints or delivery problems efficiently.
