Major Roles & ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain ManagementSupport the planning and coordination of the end-to-end supply chain process to ensure timely delivery of goods.Monitor supply chain performance and implement improvements for efficiency.Inventory & Stock ControlManage inventory levels, track stock movements, and ensure accurate record-keeping.Conduct periodic audits to prevent stock discrepancies and minimize losses.Warehouse OperationsOversee warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.Ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality standards in warehouse operations.Transportation & Distribution ManagementCoordinate transportation schedules, monitor shipments, and optimize routes to reduce costs and delivery times.Liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.Order Fulfillment & Customer ServiceEnsure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders while maintaining high customer satisfaction.Resolve any logistics-related issues or delays promptly.Vendor & Supplier CoordinationCommunicate with suppliers and service providers to negotiate terms, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contracts.Maintain strong relationships with key vendors for smooth operations.Process Optimization & Continuous ImprovementIdentify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in logistics processes.Implement best practices and cost-effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Team Supervision & TrainingSupervise logistics staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).Reporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate logistics records, generate reports on inventory, shipments, and performance metrics.Support management with data analysis and actionable insights for strategic decisions.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure all logistics operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.Identify potential risks in transportation, storage, or supply chain processes and implement mitigation strategies.
