Position: Store Incharge / Store SupervisorDepartment: Stores / InventoryLocation: As assignedReports to: Operations Manager / Store ManagerJob SummaryThe Store Incharge is responsible for managing overall store operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining stock levels, handling documentation, and coordinating with procurement, accounts, and production teams. This role ensures smooth material flow and supports efficient store functioning.Key Responsibilities1. Inventory & Stock ManagementMaintain accurate stock records, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and stock registers.Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile variances.Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests for replenishment.Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of materials.2. Store OperationsReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions.Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the store area.Implement First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expire-First-Out (FEFO) methods.3. Documentation & ReportingKeep updated records in ERP/Tally/SAP (as per company system).Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.Maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes.4. CoordinationCoordinate with procurement, production, and accounts teams for smooth operations.Follow up with vendors for delivery issues or shortages.Work closely with internal teams to fulfill material requirements.5. Compliance & SafetyEnsure all materials are stored safely and securely.Follow company safety and quality guidelines.Support internal and external audits.
