Job Description:We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Shuttering Carpenters to join our construction team in Oman. As a Shuttering Carpenter, you will be responsible for creating formwork and molds to shape concrete structures. Your expertise in carpentry and attention to detail will contribute to the successful execution of our construction projects.Responsibilities:Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine formwork requirements.Construct formwork using various materials such as timber, plywood, and metal, ensuring accurate dimensions and alignment.Cut, shape, and assemble formwork components using hand and power tools.Install formwork on construction sites, ensuring proper positioning and securing.Assist in pouring and placing concrete into the formwork, following project specifications.Create and maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and practices.Remove formwork after concrete has set, ensuring minimal damage to the concrete structure.Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions.Collaborate with other construction team members, including concrete workers and engineers, to ensure the successful completion of projects.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address any concerns or challenges related to formwork.Comply with company policies and procedures, particularly those pertaining to safety, quality, and code of conduct.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter or similar role in construction projects.Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment, both hand and power tools.Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble formwork components.Strong attention to detail and precision in creating formwork molds.Knowledge of various formwork materials and their applications.
