As a Warehouse Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Loading and Unloading Goods: You will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading goods from delivery trucks, ensuring that products are handled carefully to prevent damage.- Organizing Inventory: You will help maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sorting and storing products in designated areas, making it easier to locate items when needed.- Preparing Orders: You will assist in preparing customer orders by picking the right items from the shelves and packing them securely for delivery.- Maintaining Equipment: You will ensure that all warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, are kept clean and in good working condition after use.- Assisting in Stock Checks: You will participate in regular stock checks to help maintain accurate inventory records and identify when to reorder supplies.To succeed in this role, candidates should have the following skills and expectations:- Physical Fitness: The job requires lifting heavy items and standing for long periods, so good physical strength and stamina are necessary.- Attention to Detail: You should be detail-oriented to accurately select and organize products, ensuring fewer errors in order fulfillment.- Team Player: Working well within a team is essential, as you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.- Basic Numeracy: Familiarity with basic math is needed for counting inventory and measuring items.- Communication Skills: You should communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to ensure tasks are understood and safety protocols are followed.
