Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing excess stock.Customs and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all customs and regulatory requirements related to import, export, and transportation of goods. Handle necessary documentation and permits to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.Monitoring Supply Chain Efficiency: Analyze the efficiency of the supply chain process and identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce lead times.Risk Management: Proactively identify potential logistics issues and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks. Address any logistics-related problems that may arise and take corrective actions promptly.Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and agreements. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.Cost Control: Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on operational excellence.
