Job Description:We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in Oman. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within our facility. Your expertise in handling heavy equipment and attention to safety protocols will contribute to the smooth operations of our logistics and warehouse departments.Responsibilities:Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas.Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.Inspect forklifts before each shift, checking for any malfunctions or safety issues.Load and unload materials onto and off of trucks, shelves, and racks using proper lifting and stacking techniques.Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, following instructions and layout plans.Collaborate with warehouse and logistics staff to prioritize tasks and fulfill material handling needs.Maintain accurate records of materials moved, noting quantities, locations, and timestamps.Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, including refueling, battery charging, and minor repairs.Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring that aisles and pathways are clear of obstacles.Report any mechanical issues, safety hazards, or incidents to supervisors immediately.Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, equipment usage, and code of conduct.Attend training sessions to stay updated on forklift operation techniques and safety protocols.Qualifications:Valid forklift operator's license/certification.Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.Strong understanding of forklift operation principles and safety guidelines.Ability to operate forklifts of various sizes and capacities.
