This involves measuring, cutting, and shaping materials accurately.- Repair and Maintain: Fix and maintain wooden structures and furniture, ensuring all items meet safety and quality standards. This means identifying issues and taking necessary actions to resolve them.- Interpret Blueprints: Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper execution of designs and specifications. This is crucial for completing projects correctly.- Select Appropriate Materials: Choose the right materials for each project based on durability, cost, and appearance. Understanding material properties helps in optimizing project outcomes.- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure projects are finished on time and to the required standards.
