ROLE OVERVIEWThe Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of all electrical systems across the CCL plant, with a strong emphasis on PLC-based automation, VFD drives, and industrial control systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPLC & Automation Systems- Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or equivalent) used in treater lines, press controls, and utilities- Develop and modify ladder logic, HMI screens, and SCADA configurations as required- Manage PLC-to-sensor integration: thermocouples, pressure transducers, encoders, flow metersDrives & Power Systems- Maintain, program, and troubleshoot VFDs for motor speed control across all production lines- Oversee MV/LV electrical distribution: transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and power factor correction- Conduct electrical preventive maintenance and thermography auditsAutomation & Upgrades- Identify and implement automation improvements to increase line efficiency and reduce manual intervention- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines- Maintain electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and panel documentationCompliance & Safety- Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, insulation testing, and permit-to-work systems- Conduct periodic audits of earthing, cable management, and panel hygieneCANDIDATE PROFILEExperience- 5-10 years in industrial electrical maintenance and automation- Proven experience with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA in a process/manufacturing environment- Experience with VFD commissioning, parameter configuration, and fault diagnosisTechnical Skills- Proficiency in PLC programming (ladder, function block, or structured text)- Hands-on expertise with VFD brands: Danfoss, ABB, Siemens, Schneider, or equivalent- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols: Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP- Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and loop diagramsEducation- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics EngineeringREPORTING & LOCATIONReports To Plant Head / Senior Maintenance ManagerLocation Plant Site, India

- Support senior electricians in installing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and outlets, following construction plans and blueprints.- Help with running and connecting electrical cables and wires in various parts of the construction site, ensuring proper installation and safety standards.- Carry out minor repairs and replacements of faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and light fixtures, under the supervision of senior electricians.- Assist in diagnosing electrical faults, identifying issues with circuits, outlets, or electrical panels, and suggesting appropriate repairs.- Adhere to local building codes, electrical safety standards, and OSHA regulations while working on electrical installations and repairs, ensuring safe and compliant work practices.- Assist in testing newly installed electrical systems for functionality, safety, and code compliance using appropriate tools and equipment.- Organize, clean, and maintain electrical tools, materials, and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and ready for use on site.- Keep track of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered during electrical installations or repairs, reporting progress to the lead electrician or supervisor.- Assist in the installation of lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and other electrical devices, ensuring secure connections and proper functioning.- Work closely with other team members, including senior electricians, contractors, and other trades, to ensure coordination and smooth workflow on construction sites.- Participate in routine inspections of electrical systems and components to ensure they meet safety standards and are functioning properly.- Assist in preparing construction sites by setting up electrical components, wiring channels, and other necessary infrastructure for installation.

1. Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings and malls, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.2. Lead and oversee a team of electricians, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all electrical work is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard.3. Identify electrical issues or faults in the systems, conduct diagnostics, and coordinate or carry out repairs to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.4. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical systems, including lighting, power supply, backup generators, and other critical equipment, to prevent system failures.5. Ensure all electrical installations and repairs are in line with local and national electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.6. Supervise the execution of electrical installation projects, ensuring work is performed according to plans, specifications, and budgets, while coordinating with project managers and other departments.7. Liaise with suppliers and contractors for the procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and tools, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products.8. Monitor the financial aspects of electrical work, ensuring that projects are completed within budget, and identify cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.9. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and installations, including testing, diagnosing, and ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely.10. Maintain detailed records of electrical systems, maintenance schedules, work completed, and any issues or improvements made. Prepare reports for upper management as required.11. Respond promptly to electrical emergencies or breakdowns in the building or mall, coordinating rapid repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
