Set up: Welders set up components for welding, including cutting material with a power saw. Weld: Welders use manual or semiautomatic equipment to weld components in various positions. Maintain: Welders maintain welding equipment and machinery. Monitor: Welders monitor the welding process and adjust heat as necessary. Assess: Welders assess the quality of welds and identify flaws. Follow safety regulations: Welders follow strict safety regulations and wear the right safety gear. Welders should be attentive to detail, alert, and able to receive and follow instructions.
