DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPlans, organizes, and manages the operation of a large farm with several major subdivisions such as dairy crops or cattle.Plans and directs the management program of a large beef or dairy herd.Supervises the maintenance of farm facilities, machinery, and equipment.Prepares budget estimates and recommendations for personnel, equipment, and operating supplies.Plans a wide variety of research programs, experimental projects, and tests with research scientists.Sets up and adapts research facilities, methods, and procedures.Plans breeding programs and assists in calving difficulties.Selects, trains, and supervises farm and herd personnel.Supervises dairy operations; grows, harvests, and stores forage and grain crops; maintains an appropriate system of pasture management.;

Key Responsibilities:1. Maintaenance: Responsible for maintaining the agricultural equipment, tools, and infrastructure in good working condition.2. Live Stock Care: Ensuring the health and well-being of livestock by providing proper care, feeding, and shelter.3. General Maintenance: Performing general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing fences, and irrigation systems.4. Passport with Minimum 2 Years Left: Valid passport with at least 2 years remaining for potential travel requirements.5. Physical Health: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle tasks such as lifting heavy loads and working outdoors.6. 1-2 Years of Labour: Previous experience in agricultural labor or related field for at least 1-2 years.Required Skills and Expectations:- Must have a minimum of a 10th grade education.- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.- Good communication skills to interact with other farm workers and supervisors.- Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed.- Basic understanding of agricultural practices and procedures.- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills on the job.
